Scroll Mode™ is a native Apple Books feature that has existed for years but has never been culturally defined or fully recognized for its potential.

Apple labeled it “Vertical Scrolling” — a functional but understated name.

In 2022, I recognized what it actually was: a mobile-native reading experience that perfectly matched the way I write. Narssica Ascending became the first book intentionally written and published for this format.The real question is: Why aren’t we encouraging our youth into iPhone reading?
